Dr. Derckson is a rural provider who is on the Hub Team for the BC ECHO for Chronic Pain and is a Mentor in the BC Adaptive Mentorship Network for Pain, Mental Health & Substance Use (BCAMN).
The learning outcome for this session includes:
- Integrate locally available chronic pain services and referral pathways into patient care plans to improve function, self-management and access to appropriate support.
- Assess and differentiate common presentations of chronic pain in primary care, and identify patients who may benefit from interdisciplinary or community-based supports.
